When Love Grows Cold

I believe that over time love grows cold if you’re not careful.  In order to keep the fire burning, it needs to be fed and nurtured.  The excitement gets lost.  The routine becomes mundane.  You start engaging only in passing.  You lose the meat, the artichoke of the relationship – communication.  Sad, but it happens.

My question is:  How do you reignite that fire?  We live in a time where at the slightest bit of discomfort people leave.  There is no fight.  So, maybe a better question is:  Is it worth the fight? or is it easier to just let go?  Let me guess, it’s complicated right?  I guess the answers to those questions determines just how important it was to you in the first place.  Love

“People evolve, people change.  When that happens in a relationship, you need to be open about your desires and what you want to see in that person and vice-versa” – Stacy D. Johnson
